SPEAK OUT, STAY SAFE
We had a visitor, Jo Bowker, who came to deliver the NSPCC’s ‘Speak Out Stay Safe’ programme to the children from Reception to Year 6. This is a nationwide programme for every primary-school-aged child in the UK. With the help of her friend Buddy, she presented an assembly to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and then held workshops for the children in year 5 and year 6.
Jo is specially trained to give our children information about how to keep themselves safe from harm and how to get help if they have any worries. By the end of her visit, the children were confident in knowing how they can speak out and stay safe.
