YOGA AND MINDFULNESS

Years 3 and 4 had a fantastic time on Wednesday 22nd November, when ‘Little Yoga Adventures’ came to lead them through a guided meditation with yoga. The children began by relaxing and clearing their minds. They were then taken on an adventure to Australia. They used yoga poses to enhance the meditation and become snakes, koalas, dogs, spiders and dragons. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and a number of the children are looking forward to the possibility of this club after Christmas.

Magenta, ‘I think it was an amazing a relaxing experience and would love to do it again.’

Isaac, ‘I thought it was very fun as it was challenging and involved balancing and stretching our bodies.’

Isabelle, ‘Yoga helped me to forget all my worries.’
