Well Thursdays will taste very different from now on…. the children have been let loose on the menu!!
Our Chef, Mrs. Graham, has opened the way for the children at St Pius to dictate what we eat at school. The children were set a homework task several weeks ago to create their favourite dishes for our new school menu – and judging by the response they certainly like their food!
There were nearly 200 replies to the call for suggestions to ‘spice up’ the menu and Mrs. Graham had a difficult, though enjoyable, job deciding which dishes would find their way to our lunch tables – she even managed to find time to make and sample the dishes herself at home (such dedication!).
The recipes chosen will be used over the forthcoming term – so children look out for your recipe, we’ll all be judging your culinary delights!!
These are the dishes chosen;
