Some of the Juniors have been discovering exciting science!
In Year 3 they have been discovering how shadows are made and they have investigated first-hand how changing the orientation of an object can affect the nature and shape of the shadow.
They have drawn and cut out their own shadows, Can you guess who is who?
In Year 5 as part of 5B’s science topic, Forces, the children have started an investigation about air resistance and have been constructing different sized parachutes, for a launch next week. They have used the same materials and have measured these with absolute precision. It has been lovely, yet again, to see this fantastic team of children working so well together!
